-throw: if you dodge the slow he can't start a favorable all-in, and predicting it hard-wins the lane.

Race to level 2

Overpush and auto his melees, then kite back before his all-in: chunk him with ignite and you secure level 2 first and crush from there.

Value your HP

If he can freeze in front of his tower lvl 4+, he'll all-in you any time you go for a minion: value your HP highly and ping your jungler.

Never taunt forward into Olaf unless you can oneshot him or you're right at your tower: his lifesteal and shield make him deadly the moment he's low and you're out of spells.
