A smart Jayce holds his E to interrupt your W drain and knock you out of the fight: bait it before you commit your ult.

Two-rotation ult kill
W him so he combos and E's you away (proccing Stormraider's Surge), then ult him when he walks back up: after 6 that should kill him, especially in ranged form.

Bully, but respect spikes
Play Comet with Ignite to bully him, but with Stormraider's Surge he can combo and run, and he gets dangerous at 3+ items or off a random kill.

Never dump your combo before he's used his E: he interrupts your drain, knocks you away and wastes your ult.

Standard AP drain core: Liandry's Torment + Rylai's Crystal Scepter milk his channeled W for max damage while the slow keeps targets in range, and Zhonya's lets him ult from fog and stasis mid-channel. Flex the third slot to Banshee's Veil, Mercury's Treads, or a Null-Magic Mantle rush into heavy burst.
